The Museum of Motherhood is a pop-up exhibition at the V&A Museum of Childhood, popping up this Thursday 21st at 6:00pm, with speeches at 7pm. It features stories on the theme of motherhood.

Speakers include Rushanara Ali MP, Shadow Minister for International Development; Pinky Lilani OBE, Founder of the Asian Women of Achievement Awards; and Ruth Turner, Chief Executive of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation.

Full details are on the LSE’s Engenderings blog: http://blogs.lse.ac.uk/gender/2012/06/11/museum-of-motherhood-exploring-the-issues-of-motherhood/#more-725 and their twitter is:  @MoMLondon.

Although this seems to be heavily linked to the Tony Blair Faith Foundation (the promoter is from there, as is one of the speakers, and there is a book being launched with a foreword from Cherie Blair) it does look like an interesting event.
